On vacations

Here I am on vacation in what most would consider paradise and I’m tired and missing home. All previous vacations to the same destination left me wanting to move here. All of a sudden, I’m ready to go home. WTF?

Mayhap it’s our new home or something to actually DO? I’ve read, umm….let me count…SEVEN books while here. I’ve gone walking, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, toured Univ. of Hawaii-Manoa campus, gone out on a catamaran, etc. And I’m slowly getting bored. I’m actually ready to get the kids ready for back-to-school and put in some office time.

Odd, huh? Maybe Felicia will add some excitement. Should probably review Hurricane preparedness 101 and figure out where the nearest shelters are on this rural side of Oahu.
